  1. I've been riding scince 68. Have a 1980 GS 1100 I bought new and looking at a Fat Bob,
I agree with Mr Haney bikes and rods seem to be joined at the hip to me. Harley's and the old bikes in particular.

Thats it, close the thread. N one can have a cooler bike as no greater bike was ever built! RESPECT!!

PS, I owned a HD once, 1988 Fat Boy that I ended up giving away. Yes I gave it to a mate. What a POS! I will never own a HD again UGH, two wheeled tractors.

Been riding bikes since before I had a license, maybe 48 years. First ride was a friends BSA Victor, owned Honda's, Yamaha's, Harley hardtail with a shovelhead, an iron head Sportster, current ride is a Honda Goldwing 1800 which is great on long hauls, not as much fun in town. I prefer driving my 34 coupe.

  7. No worries, I just posted that since many folks never realize we have other boards. Hell, some folks spend their whole time in the Q&S sub forum, remember the Bizzaro-HAMB?

I dig the nod to Rollie Free on the tank...very clean!...thanks also for riding it and letting folks hear it blast down a track...unfortunately those are becoming "investments" and less are seeing the road than they used to.

He's what I had. I still kick myself for selling that damn bike. By far the most fun you can have on 2 wheels. '75 Guzzi

Here's what I ride now. '75 FLH. THe tanks were hand lettered by the one and only Big A. He rules. I would name my first born after him, but "Kick Ass Artist" is not a socially exceptable name in these parts.

Wow I've never really looked at those 2 bike together, talk about polar opposites. I'm 6' 6" 325 lbs so the shovel fits me much better.

my frisco chopper engine built by brock obsolete engineering 440 225-0752
h-beam rods, balanced at 56%, hot little 80 inch panhead. ran like a stroker
lighter than a sportster. I am a dumb dick for selling this bike, still regret it.

  16. THOSE PIPES. Wait til the kids in the Chevys see those pipes.
Love that look. No excess crap.

I always thought rods and bikes go together.

  23. Me too. The JJers hate it, it has a SBC so it ain't HAMB friendly, but I don't give a shit. I've been riding since before many of the nay sayers were a squirt of jizz (41yrs). I like it and that's good enough for me:)

Uhh,because this is a traditional HOT ROD forum?
The JockeyJournal is an excellent forum for motorsickles and the like and is under the "journal" banner.
Maybe posing the question over there asking how many motorsickle riders might have a more controlled target-group response for you?
Ride safe and may the road be yours.
