How many digits are in a Model T engine #

I have a title for my '27T, and the engine number has 8 digits then a space and 2 more digits. The way the title is layed out, I think the last two digits are just the for engine HP, but it's not really lined up well, and I want to be sure before I go to the DMV.

Anyone got a T handy to check the VIN?

My '27 has 8 starting with 14XXXXXX

 

Yup, sequential prod. numbers up into the 15 million mark. But, they produced replacement engines up to the 40s with blanck pads for the mechanic to swap the number onto when the new mill was installed.
