Wondering how people get more than one picture on one post, I've tried a couple different ways, and it doesn't work. Thanks Matt

I use Photobucket.com as per Rashy's suggestion then you can just keep adding pictures til your hearts content linking them directly there to here, I think if you try to Upload pictures Directly to the HAMB it don't work at least I never figured it out [IMG]

Denise's post has pictures that are continuous and she said she would tell me the secret at the Pile UP, but I can't make the Pile Up, so now I'm scrambling to find out....It's killin me [IMG]

  4. i use image shack, it's the easiest one i've found. getting your pictures the right size helps to.

Also, remote hosting takes the strain off of the HAMB server.

Open an account at Photobucket then all you need to do is save your pictures into the Photobucket site, as many pics as you want to. Then you copy and paste the URL to the pic onto the post you put on the Hamb. You can paste a bunch of picture URLs one after another and all the pictures come out nice and lined up. They are actually beeing viewed from Photobucket, which means the limited space Hamb website is not cluttered up with pictures, and Ryan will love you for it all the more. [IMG]

You can even do moving pics from Photobucket:

Ok, this is the last time I'll explain this so pay attention.

    Step 1:
Post your pictures on a photo site like photo bucket or Fotki.

Step 2: On fotki, you'll find the URL of the picture right under the picture. On others you may have to right click on the picture and look under "Properties" to find the URL.
Highlight the URL, and ONLY the URL. Leave out the other text.

Step 3:eek:nce the URL is hilighted, hit "CTRL-C" on your keyboard. That saves the URL in your clipboard.

Step 4: In your message where you want the photo tp appear, type or [image].

Step 5: with the cursor right after the [img] hit "CTRL_V"
That will copy the URL from the clipboard to your message.

Step 6: Type or [/image] after the URL.

Step 7: Hit enter to get you to the next line in the message or hit enter more than once if you want space between your pictures.

Step 8: goto step 2 and repeat for each picture. when you have all the pictures, send the message. It'll have all the pictures in it when you view it.

Step 9: Buy me a beer next time you see me at an event.

    .
I'd like to suggest that you resize your photos to about 650 pixels wide when you save them at your photo site. That size works well. A larger photo makes us scroll the slide bar at the bottom as seen on this post. I think most people like to see the whole picture and the person's name that posted it.

One large photo affects the whole thread. If there is a lot of text on the thread we have to scroll back and forth to read it all. A real PITA. I'm sure most people don't even know that their large pictures are the cause.

Anyone know of a site that is accepting photo hosting that is similar to Photobucket? Photobucket isn't currently accepting "free" Members right now, and fotki has you pay $30? Thanks Matt

Jeem, the URL for the photo has to say something like .jpg on the end of it. Where are you getting that file name from?
