How do get the window cranks off a Model A

    I would like to lube the window mech but would like to know how to get the window cranks off my 31 model a before destroying it in the process.
    Any help?

    isn't there a set screw under the lever that goes to the shaft?
     
  3. There is a pin behind the escustion (sp) push in on the escustion and with a scratch al are small punch push the pin out. May be a roll pin.

    There should be a pin like this holding the crank on.

    Ford cars and pickups from 28-47(pickups except 32-34)48(cars) use small steel pins through handle and regulator shaft. THE EXCEPTION...32-34 pickup handles are mounted with screws into the end of the regulator shaft.
