Well it was another fantastic Pileup. One of my favorite aspects of this show is the close proximity to Route 66. LuckysGal and I stayed in Joliet so we hopped in the sedan and took off down the Mother Road. Later that night we went to the Red Cent and had a great time with everyone, that is a superb location. Saturday was great, the weather was just insane. I can't believe people were having heat stroke in mid October! All and all it's still the best show around and we'll be there next year for sure.
Hey Todd, you were standing next to Johnny Sparkle and me and asked what year it was when you signed the banner. I was going to introduce myself but I didn't figure you'd remember
well hell, i would have remember'd that early in the day....maybe was it one of you that told me were the basket was to place the pens after i signed it? and really, it the damn meds i have to take that make me so forgetful..when i drink on them anyway! ill hook up widcha atta show soon and bs with ya then!!!!!!
Yup, I was standing next to Johnny and he told ya about the pen basket. I think we're going to try and make the HAMB drags next year. Maybe we'll catch up with ya then.
Well that's what you get for building a rat rod Just kidding, your car turned out great. Love the color and level of creativity.
Last year I didnt take too many pics... I get caught in the moment like a kid in a candy store who cant make up his mind. I kept telling myself to take more pics, but I was just busy talking with old friends and checking everything out. Plus talking with my pops. Also was the wifes birthday, so I was trying to keep her entertained. She knows I get lost at events like these... My mind wanders and I just get involved with people and looking at things and it gets me in trouble with her.... So I tried to balance and again failed to take a lot of pics. But I am happy with what I got... twice what I got last year. Hopefully I will have my heap together by then.
I ought to sell my car before the ratrod trend dies out. Nope, nothing new. Still don't have a camera. The last pics I had posted were right before I painted the grill and lights. Did you see that one? Sorry about throwing your thread off topic, Scott.
Nice!! Hey it was fun hanging on the street with you guys and listening to our dysfunctional family stories....
I have now. Very nice dude. And Thanks for the coverage of the show guys. I don't get a chance to go to any shows with work and the family. I really appreciate the HAMB and the pics people post.
