How are wishbones split?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by malaguena, Oct 23, 2004.

  1. Im trying to find some pics or info on just how to "split" the wishbones on the 40 ford front end I bought that im going to be using on my T bucket. Also, does anyone know just how I should mount the spring on the split rails? Thanks.

here's how I split mine: bone splitting

and here's how I mounted the spring behind: front spring mount

this is only one way to do it.

take pictures and show us how you did it.
