Hot Rods How About A HAMB Barn Find Thread

My dad's cousin had this 30 pickup stored in his northern Oregon barn for many years [bought new] and my dad bought it in '88. Restored it and when my dad died in '05 I inherited it. Grabbed my son's truck and trailer and went to claim it....was gone. Stolen and never recovered.

 

^^^^^^ I remember that quite well, everyone was pitching in with clues but to no avail ^^^^^^^^^^

 

Then there's the one that got away....

 

I think Mr. Carini made out rather well on that one...

 

By the time I got there the guy already drug it out and blasted it off with the pressure washer.

 

I remember when this happend. That really stinks you never found it.

...a few years ago we rescued this T coupe and 27 Dodge out of a barn they sat in for over 40 years...

 

Some people rescue animals.........

And some people rescue old cars and trucks. LOL.

Was that Rich and Van, helping load the T coupe?

 

1932 Ford 5-W recently found will soon be on the HAMB For sale early in the New Year.

 

35 five window......Flat towed up from Arizona in 1979 and this is where it sat until last spring.

 

That T coupe looks exactly like the one I bought in North Carolina in 1972 for $35, only it had both doors and no rearend. Bet this one cost more than $35

Here is a 62 I got that was in the same spot in a woodworking shop since 1997. Same owner since 1970. 409,2 fours, 4 speed,original paint.

 

'31 roadster turned up stored (in pieces) about 3/4 of a mile away from my house!
The old fellow that owned it said " My nephew says you like old Fords, you interested in this?"

Pictures I took when I went to look at it. Font bumper disappeared after I bought it and before I could pick the truck up.

 

...a few years back, we rescued this 39 Chevy out of a polebarn that got blown apart in a bad windstorm,...it had sat in there for 30+ years...

 

My 64 Biscayne that was stored for over 45 years before being sold in an estate sale. Original paint and interior.

 

I have pictures somewhere of the barn this was in. It was there for 25 plus years. The barn is about to fall over, in fact they're about to push it over

Bought this 34 3W last year that was actuall y in a chicken coupe

 

Before and after shots are great. Back in the 90's, I'd bought a 58 Chevy Delray 2 door sedan for parts. It had been in a garage for years. We had to cut down a small tree and dig the gravel away from the overhead door to get it out. The 283 wouldn't make a full revolution, but after soaking it and working it back and forth, it started and ran well. No pix.

 

...pulled these 37 and 38 Chevs each out of pole barns where they had sat for over 30 years

 

The roadster & parts I pulled out a barn 2 years ago...

 

Pulled this a couple years ago..... Junk Yard Kid handled the rest..........Sitting dormant since.....1966
