Folks Of Interest HOTRODPRIMER is in Sick Bay...

A little over a week ago Danny took a tumble while helping a friend load an OT (think it was a VW) body. The fall resulted in a right shoulder broken in three places and major damage to the shoulder socket. Surgery to get an artificial shoulder joint and finish repairing the damage is scheduled for 2/25.
He's in right much pain and is under the influence of the benefits of modern pharmacology. His surgeon says about 3 months to recover and get back to speed.

I'm not at all surprised to hear that this happened as he was helping someone, that's just his nature. Keep Danny in your thoughts and prayers.

 

Damn! I hate to hear that. Good luck with the surgery, Danny, as well as the re-hab. Get back to us as soon as possible. We miss you around here for sure............Don.

Heal up, and keep posting with your other arm. This old age thing requires a lot of perseverance.

 

Wow, I feel the pain having had shoulder surgery for a torn ligament. 2yrs now and not 100% but improving. It will never be as good as it was before. Speedy recovery.

 

I took a fall a while back and tore my rotator cuff. The surgery was great but recovery took longer than I expected. Over a full year before moving anything over 20lbs! Take it slow and do not over due it. After 4 years, it's as good as new. (as any 66 year old can be). Take care and PM me for some good remedies.
