Your voice over is like some sort of beat peotry. Its like what I'd imagine if Alan Ginsberg ever wrote a hot rodding poem. Brillant.
If this does not make you want to work on your current project, engine swap- chop top or trick what ever. You had better check your pulse!!! Great job!!!
That was great! I just watched it 3 times in a row. That full fendered roadster at the lakes is real tasty!!!! Sadly, somewhere, some fool with his 2006 check book streetrod probably just saw his car in the video and thought it was a complement to him.
Awesome... thank you for sharing that... I had caled my two older boys (9 and 11) in to watch that, and their friends who are over both said "that is so much cooler than American Hot Rod! Play it again!") You just changed the lives of four kids and one 30-something.
Wow! Good stuff. You've motivated me to fire up the heater in my garage, pour a bourbon on the rocks, sit on my stool and stare at my cars. No projects in mind tonight, but what the hell! Thanks!
Oh, there's plenty of breaths! I just took them off-mic or the pop filter ate them. I did the audio in a friend's studio as part of a larger spoken word project, and good equipment can make anybody sound good, or at least much better. I get my Super 8 by mail from B&H Photo--Tri-X is $14 for less than four minutes of film, so you gotta plan your shots or it gets stupid expensive. PAC LAB in NYC did the processing, and they can capture it to MiniDV too. You can capture it yourself if you have access to a good-to-professional camcorder--just film the projection. I got my projector for $25 on Ebay with two cameras. Racer5c--is that your #5 car at the Jalopy Showdown? I have more footage of you on the track than what I used here... If only I could weld something worthy of all these compliments...
I didnt read any replys to this so im just posting my thought and they are simple... You hit the nail on the head... spot on
