OH What the hell............... almost 25, been building since 13, ran my own dirt car at the time, started building full on race engines at 15, also for dirt cars that saw 6750rpm allot of the time. Own a 1963 F100 that I've also had since 13, its been through a stock look with original 6cyl, then 360/auto, then 4X4 with 360, then 460 standard, then 460 police/auto, now it is going back to 2wd lowered with a stock I beam axle, and STOUT 302 Tunnel Ram. Bed is all cut out now, just shortened bedsides, and doing the bodywork, have over 40 hours in the doors which aren't done yet. Just another form of addiction.

Wanted to share a little story that you guys might like.
In 2007 (I think) the Jegs engine masters challenge was hosted at my school. I was asked by a couple of my instructors to assist in the event, like dyno setup, engine loading on dyno carts, stuff like that. I was pumped because I was asked, almost all of the other kids there applied to help, so it was cool. One of the gentlemen there brought Ed Iskendarian along. I knew who he was IMMEDIATLY and went nuts. I was running to all my friends and telling them "dude ISKY'S HERE!" Now, this is a car school. Everyone there at this event was in school for high performance automotive technology-a college degree program. Only 2 of my friends and other kids I talked to knew who Isky was, how sad is that. Well anyway, I was able to meet him, and man what a cool old guy. He would ask you your name, then shake your hand, then look at your hand. He forgot everyone he met, lol, understandably, but he remembered me because he asked what I was working on. I told him I had a 1930 model A. I was floored when I saw him the next day and he said "Hi John" haha. He gave a presentation that most of the Hi-Po teachers deamed mandatory. He pretty much just told his story of how he got started. I was so lucky to have been there and heard the story. The sad thing was about half of the people there (probably 50-75 or so) were falling asleep. The other half and the teachers were on the edge of their seats amazed at hearing a living legend's story in his own words. Just goes to show you, theres a lot of guys that are truly into this, and a lot that just want to play the part. Theres definalty a long future in hot rodding.

  23. 18 with '54 ford. I've always been into customs, and I like hotrods aswell. I just really like customs. I'm putting my car on hold after this summer when I start at IU. After that, I'm gonna finish my car up, start a sporty build, and build a model A or a fad T.

25 years old and have been playing with cars since birth. I am a 3rd generation car nut and have worked the last 12 years at a car shop. I have been playing around with mini trucks but am finaly going to weed out my 4 Mazda mini trucks and dig into my 1942 2dr sedan.
