Bobby daughter put him into assisted living and he does not have access to a computer. I talked to Bobby about a week ago he in good spirits and tried to escape a couple of times but they hid his pants. I will be glad to pass on you’ll messages to him. I have known him since the late 50’s and we have remained close friends. Frank
P.S. you can PM me if you need to.

    Frank,
Please let him know that I, and many others here really miss him, and I consider him as my friend. The stories he has shared and the insight of the Hot Rod & Racing history is amazing. Maybe someone can get him a computer so that he can continue to "set-us-straight" on the way it really was. May God Bless him and take care of him.

That would be great to see him get back on here. There’s a wealth of knowledge there from “back in the day”. Glad he’s in good spirits.

    Hello,

Nice photo of the Scorpion. The Bobby Langley photo was too small to just show everyone. Here it is a little larger and clearer. His black, Scorpion dragster was one of our favorites when he came out West to the So Cal's Riverside Raceway for the East vs West drag race meet in December 1959.

Then in March of 1960, they went to the famous Bakersfield Smokers March Meet and made some blistering runs. We were there to have a chance to capture the action. What a cool FED.

Hopefully, these will add to the Texas composite photos and Bobby Langley.

Here's a photo I took of L.C.'s Cadillac-Allard at the 1958 Texas State Championship at Caddo. The photo with Caddo Mills.105.11.C.W.jpg Caddo Mills.105.10.C.W.jpg the car on the trailer I took the week before at the Oklahoma City motel where a lot of us that were racing stayed during the NHRA Nationals.

  21. Dang.....towing with a 1956 T bird it looks like - nice trailer there too ! Thanks for posting !.
