Cool. There's this one movie I saw last month on TMC. A short film called the Hurrying Kind. I've looked on the tube and did a net search but haven't had any luck finding it but the main character drives a really nice looking roadster with a mouse motor and there are some drag scenes in the film.
That '32 roadster is the old Bob McGee ride...currently restored to its former self. In the movie, it was owned (and 'updated' to 1958 specs) by Dick Scritchfield, of the L.A. Roadsters. The same car is the one on the L.A. trademarked plaque, and their products. Ol' John Ashley did some cool street driving in the movie...curb riding???
I have this movie on VHS,,man that sounds so antiquated nowadays. I have to admit I love these old hot rod movies.HRP
I bought this one on DVD, so I could watch it whenever I wanted. It's a classic! But, where are ALL the others? It seems like whenever someone mentions old hot rod movies, it's either "The Choppers" or "Hot Rod Gang"? I've seen posters for a lot more, but no videos available.
