Well, now that we said Mad Fabricators Society, we can close this thread. There aren't any others. :D

I just ordered "High School Caesar" from Amazon. John Ashley as a high school "rackets" kingpin--car scenes and lots of '50s teen angst. Also ordered "Bikini Beach" to see the Ivo "Showboat" and "Barnstormer" footage at Pomona.

Want: "Drag Strip Riot" and other mid-late '50s "noir" car flicks on DVD!

Forgot to add the Lions Drag Strip documentary DVD set. Every car guy should have it and you'll watch it more than once. Hot Rod Nostalgia has it, as does Amazon.

Ow ya they just released "7 Second Love Affair" one of the best Drag Racing movies ever..

And there is also "Dreams of Legends" DVD's RULE too..

  12. I don't know if I'd classify Back From the Dead as a hot rod DVD...more a lesson in the futility of attempting time-travel to regain an hour of one's life! A truly horrible DVD.

    My list:

All the MFS DVDs....including The Car That Ate My Brain.
    Road To Bonneville.
Both Lions Drag Strip DVDs....and, for sure, the Part 3 when it's done.

I'd go with "The Road to Bonneville", and I swear I'm not only saying that cause I made it!
