Every year my family gets me "Hot Rod Hot Wheels" to make into Xmas ornements. So far they take up half the tree. The best part is its become a family tradition right down to the 2yo daughter. Hard part is she wont leave'm on the tree so the bottom half stays pretty empty. She wants to play with hot rods aint stopping her.

Cmon guys lets see some Hot Rod christmas trees!

    Merry Christamas

I like it. I'm waiting to see who all has an NHRA staging tree for their Christmas tree.

My wife would buy me a Hallmark HotWheel ornament each year, till they stopped making them a couple of years ago. She decorates a couple of theme trees a year, and here is last years Hot Wheel tree. This complete with pinstriped ornaments from over the years and Hot Wheel track garland.

My wife also bought me the Hallmark Vintage Hot Wheels ornaments. This year we got a new tree and didn't have room for them, maybe next year. I love the idea of making actual Hot Wheels cars into ornaments...might have to play around in the shop a little. :)
    Merry Christmas!

Back in the 80s-early 90s we had a Christmas tree at the store with a pair of 35-36 Ford V8 pickup hood side emblems mounted back to back at the top attached to the tree with an old stock 35-36 Ford clutch return spring. Wish I had taken a picture of it.

  24. Hey Deuces,

Winfield, WV is located in western West Virginia midway between Charleston and Huntington. I'm six miles from Interstate 64 off the Winfield / Teays Valley Exit. I'm roughly 2 1/2 hours from Columbus, Ohio on US Route 35. I hope you can schedule a visit sometime!

Not at my house, my tree has to be decorated with frilly lady type stuff. That's fine with me though. The women get the house, I get the garage.

A little off toppic , but one year when I was a single man living in a flat in Detroit I built a 1979 FLH in my living room, it was all dolled up for Christmas with ornaments, lights etc..than on New Years Eve I fired it up like in the Cheech and Chong Movie.

    Good times:cool:

those that know me wont think this is unusual:D

I don't believe that's off topic at all. Sounds like it WAS your Christmas Tree.
Would of loved to see that! I have built a motorcycle in my dinning room, tore down and repaired weedeaters, blowers and mowers in my kitchen and dialed them. Jeff Foxworthy would have loved it
