Caps for knockoffs were spun into a maple wooden plug.

    Delicious workmanship.
    Re hub caps:
I'm looking at these Cyclone fence post caps to use as hub caps on my champ car

Wow what a build and what a neat car with so many great features that all blend together perfectly.

Been watching "Limey Kid" build & inspired. Now find this build. Moving to new house with 5 car garage - all designed - ready to build. How much boost do you get? Factory F85 olds used water/alki injection.

The flathead has fairly low oil pressure and I don't test it to see max boost. It is stock 221 cu in with factory compression ratio. It feels peppy in light car. The main plan was to complete the car with unknown condition of engine. Future rebuild is possible....probable.

May I ask why you have late model heads on the engine? To make room for the induction system? Great work, by the way!
