Main log of intake manifold milled off of head with head at angle to make the port runners vertical....Then bolt holes are drilled and tapped where there is room ..Now the ports have a gasket surface with bolts perpendicular and thus the pictured manifold matches..I wouldn't have used those carbs though..

It had junk stromberg 97s on it. Stuck the holleys on it. That's what they made it to use. I would have used something else. Since there was a lot of better stuff around when it was made

Sorry guys, working high school graduations today, just got back to this.

O.K., the Lynx intake that squirrel posted in #34 is what I have. The log intake is milled at an angle so that the carb base is straight up & down. The head & intake that Paul posted is the Aussie Ford 2V (1970-1976); its a 12 port, with six intake ports sort of stacked on top of six exhaust ports, so this is not a cross-flow. The next Oz Ford six after this version was a 12 port cross-flow.

Here is an American (improved) copy of the 2V, showing the port set up a little better. K6

The 2V head I posted was for whoever asked about the Oz Ford head being a cross-flow. The milled log head leaves a flat surface that leans back towards the top of the head, so the port face and carb mounts on the Lynx intake are not parallel. K6
