Capt. Mullette, from PCB, I take RT. 98 West to Rt. 331 North to HWY 55 North to Georgiana, AL where it intersects I 65 North. Then I 65 all the way to BG, KY. You could take I 10 to 331 North. I've tried every which way but the best way to me is 331 to 55 to I 65.
Be careful mucho troopers in Alabama. Not that much in Florida, Tennessee and Kentucky. Takes me 8 1/2 to 9 hours from PCB to BG at 75-80 MPH. Should be about 525 miles.

The good news is my house in Kentucky is 115 miles North of BG. Just about a 1 1/2 hour drive.

It is right behind the Buffalo Wild Wings. There is a good cruise in there every night.

B.A. you were right about the trooper just on the north bound side of I-65 as you cross the Tennessee river. He was there two days ago.

We'll I left work early today and went to work on the wagon. I put the seat belts in and put the new rear shocks on. I also put new studs in the front hubs.

If the weather is good this evening we are going to go to the strip they are supposed to be having test and tune for a vintage race this weekend.

Enloe, if you think 61 Chevy parts are expensive, try buying parts for that WWll Hot Rod. My doctor has an F-4U. Even at that, I'm surprised he can afford something like that. I'm a retired FAA Aviation Safety Inspector and I'm here to tell you owners of WW ll aircraft are pretty well healed.
Stick with old cars, its way cheaper.

Hot Rod Reunion tickets and windshield card arrived in today's mail. Finally, after several years of wanting to attend, we are finally going to Beech Bend for the first time. Hope to meet as many fellow HAMBers as possible. Stop by and see us in Memory Lane. Look for the black and silver, steel-bodied Topolino vintage Altered.
