I am having my 289 built to improve performance and I really like the looks of the high rise manifolds .I wondered if it would really effect the performance to run this on a standard 600 cfm carb.I have been told low end will suffer alot but is this true ?
The motor will have mild cam ,aluminum heads and should be like 350 or bit more HP.

Just run a dual plane one, and it should be fine.
