Been reading the board for a while and thought I'd join cause I need to do a search. I'm a newbie but I'll still try not to piss off any of you old timers around here. My car is not running yet but I hope to have it going by the time the snow melts. I've got almost everything to do get it done just got to do it. 4.10 gears with a locker in a ford 8" rear end, 750 double pumper Holley, freshly built Chevy 383 stroker, turbo 400 with a 2800 stall converter. Front Disc brake conversion with power booster. It should be sweet when it's all said and done.
Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. Right now I can use all the "warm" I can get. We got about 7 feet of snow so far.
Welcome from "next door"...well, SW Nebraska. BIG snow storm missed us, but I sympathize with you. It'll be better in July...for a week or so. Stay warm and keep building.
Y'all are welcome to keep the snow up there. Snow is beautiful in pictures taken in faraway places like Colorado. The pastor of our church here in Georgia has just resigned to accept the pastorate of First Baptist Church in Boulder CO. Moving there in the dead of winter, next Sunday will be his first Sunday there. He's a North Carolina native, not used to all that snow.
