Hey guys kinda new to the board been on for a few weeks. I am from northern Indiana, Mishawaka to be exact. I am 27 and not new to rods. I own a 64 Merc Cyclone with a warmed 289 and a 4 gear of course. I am currently working on it to get the B\FX look with skinny steelies front and steelies rear and a raised front end, no straight axle (that for another project). Been into old cars since i was a kid and always helped pops in the garage on his.

Here is what it looks like now
    [IMG]

Here is the look I am going for. I am taking it back to factory color Carnival Red. I got steel wheels this weekend, fronts are 15x4 from a Studebaker Lark and rears are just some 15x8. Trying to make almost everything peroid correct.

Judd yeah I did just join the Comet Forum.

Can't wait to get it done. I have been planning to do this for a couple years.

Any idea what the rears 15x8 are off of? I need a pair.

FoMoCo- I bought them new about six years ago. I believe older dodge van wheels from around the 70's and 80's will work. They are 15x8 and 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern they should have the correct backspacing. I will check the bc on mine and let you know what it is.
