I arrived on Thursday. It was raining, so I started by looking at auction cars under the tent to try to stay dry.
Next it was over to the fields. Most vendors had their parts covered with tarps to keep them dry, so I mostly looked at the offerings in the Car Corral.
Nice mix...... stare at each one and think of how the first owner felt driving home from the dealership back then... .
Outstanding group of cars you photographed,I’d be hard pressed to choose my favorite ten from those. Thanks for sharing.
The travel trailer rig was built in the 30's in Florida. It is now owned by the owner of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in California.
I did a little of the flea market on Thursday, but couldn't see much since the parts were under tarps to stay dry.
Friday was dry, so I tried to cover what I normally take two days to walk into one day. By afternoon, vendors were leaving, so I missed some things, but still saw plenty.
A few more Friday pictures. According to the paper on the '57 T-Bird project, it was powered by a Corvette engine which came out of either a truck or an Impala. Yes, that's what it said.
While the stock market tanked, the prices of Deuces went up. This Model B 5 Window went for $34K + fees at the auction on Thursday night and was in the Car Corral on Friday for $49K.
We didn't stay for the show Sat, only because of the weather prediction. It was our first time. Next year will be different. Making hotel reservations right now. Who was the vendor with all the rebuilt banger engines?
Thanks for all the pics. Been to Hershey 3 times now but have never made the car show on Saturday. Well I've seen it now , thanks to you.
