you got a point there. i located my pops old '54 12 years after i sold it without letting him know what i was going to do. bought it back about a year and a half ago in really bad shape. hopefully it will be done to where he can enjoy it again.

 

I missed it the first time round...brought tears to my eyes! I'd love to do the same for my pops with his '63 Nova Convertible.....that'd be amazing and surely bring the same reaction!!

2x that miss mine too but it does remind me of a car time with him,he got down when he couldnt drive anymore and he would call me up and say come over and pick me up and lets go for a ride in the corvette .I would get the vette out and go pick him up .Absolutely every time he got in it he would hit his head on the roof gettin in, after he would get settled in he would find some good hillbilly music on the stereo we would cruze where ever he wanted to go
