I thought i'd try something different . I seen a few of these done and they seam to get a good responce at shows , but they are very seldom seen in my area .
I bought this really clean 63 Belair wagon with the Original V8 . Over all it's pretty much rust free and straight .
I bought it with out the Iroc 20 inch wheels , i'll be getting the stock ones .
However i have on order an Air Ride system , Coys wheels size 18s and 20s in the C 57s and a Big Brake kit from CPP .
it should have some killer attitude then .

but why not some cool wheels. 18s and 20s are boring.

You can carry a lot of ho's in a car like that and with 20's they'll be asking for rides.

Here's the one I'm starting with. Getting it from "Gasser57" here on the HAMB.

If you wanted something different you'll save your money on the 18 and 20's.

Looks fuckin gay with those oversized wagon wheels. This ain't a full size HotWheels, man. HRR's 64 is spot on, imitate him and you'll be set.

for one thing if your going big, go 20's and 20's not 18's.. also 18 and 20" coys are about the most unoriginal setup ever, for that price you can buy some 15" chrome reverse, with some cool tires (maybe whites??) and some spider caps, paint the wheels some color, and your golden. Big wheels are only cool if you buy some ballin ass expensive ones nobody else has man... in which case you'd be on the wrong forum... look at Intro wheels, Fesler, **cough** BOYD***sneeze** or any of the bigger billet companies for some real "big dog" wheels.. id roll stock steelies and caps before I did TT2's or coys...

Love the car.....HATE the wheels. In fact, I am not a fan of GIANT wheels at all. The look ok on a new truck but an old car, it ruins it.

Big wheels DO NOT belong on an old car. Never. Ever.

To each their own but really, leave the big wheels to mid 80's Monte Carlos and such. In my opinion, your car would look really great with Supremes; they'd complement your car. Big wheels on non-drag 50's/60's cars is like Budweiser being foreign owned, it's just wrong. You want to be different, truly be different and say "no" to the big wheels. In the end, it's your car so who cares what anyone else says so long as you enjoy it!

AMEN. That is my problem with Good-Guys. Lots of nice cars but it seems 90 percent of them are ruined with giant rims & rubber bands for tires.

Hey Everyones allowed to have an opinion no matter how closed minded they may be . I'd rather look at a cool wheel then black side wall any day .
Oh and i'm not installing BilletSpecialties , Foose , Budnick or Intros wheels on a daily driver thats not being restored or repainted .
The Idea here is to incorporate Old with new .
I expected to get some hate Postings about it and i'm sure there's more to come .
So I figured i'd help out some by adding this :

Those 20" wheels don't do anything for the car. Looks like a Donk.

  27. my old one...17 inch Saltflats all around, proportioned well with the size of the car, I couldn't see going any bigger without looking like a ghetto cruiser IMHO.

Take a look around the board, there is nothing that even comes close to resembling what you have got. There IS a reason for that.
