Not yet Eric. The underside was blasted and treated last night.
Looking killer my friend can't wait to see it again at Detroit with a new top...
Looking good Eric, I know Andre will do a awesome job. Hopefully we will be cruising in the spring.
The paint plan.
Sweet! This has a very period look!
That is going to look way cool. Love the color combo.
Color will look great. I love green
Really like the looks of what u are going for
A little gap, moulding and radius work.
Looking good Eric! Bet your are itching to get it back on the road.
Yes, it's been 9 months and I'm getting the itch.
Got the left hood corner rounded and gapped the left side of the hood.
Glad to see you're gapping the car also , very nice
How did you decide whether to adjust the gap on the fender or the hood? I noticed you did it different on each side.
The gap on the right was almost 1/2" near the cowl so I moved the fender edge in. The gaps get tighter near the front so I narrowed the hood. I'm about to do the same to the front of the right.
Gaps look nice!
This job is waiting for me at some point, but i guess i'll pass the fender welding to the body.
Just to make maintenance easier,if i have to remove the fenders/merc surround combo for some reason.
The door is now gapped properly after lots of cutting and welding. The door corners are also rounded.
The body work is done and the first coat of high build primer is on.
All that work you're putting into the gaps will pay off, it's looking great.
Looks real good!
Kinda quiet lately. Any updates?
Top is still in the paint shop and I'm busting ass trying to save $ to paint the rest. I'm doing another kitchen reno and then I'll be back on it. Thanks for checking in.
Still one of my favorite build threads on the hamb... Go at it man...
