Technical hemi head bolt interchange

    Can early 331 Chrysler head bolts be used on a early Dodge 241 hemi?
     
  2. I don't know about the Dodge, but if you go here:
    http://hothemiheads.com/
    you can compare the part numbers of the ARP Chrysler bolts with the part numbers of the Dodge bolts to see if they are the same.

    No they are significantly different sizes . The Dodge 241 is similar to the Dodge 270 engine . They are considered low blocks. That's due to the position of the heads.

    The Dodge is also significantly lighter than the Chrysler.
