yea we ended up taking out 4" in the end, with it sat on 32 rails think it was the right decision. if your ever in the neighbourhood you should pop in.
Looking good Thanks for sharing .The flare die made the frame holes look great. You all spell tires alittle different don't you.
Nice build, The Hemi is just sitting perfect. The rear tire (or is that tyre ?) is lined up in the rear quarter just perfect. I am not to agreeable with the chop. To me there is just too many chopped "A"s. Car is looking good.
really enjoyed saturday, thankyou Kelv and Becky, just sorry I couln't stay for the whole weekend and see the roof finished. I'll be honest I'm more sorry I couldn't stop and just get wasted on cider with Jay! Look forward to seeing the coupe rolling soon
Got to agree with the previous comments on the rear wheel placement, spot on! Great job on the chop, looks the bizz.
When we did the chop last weekend I set up the camera to take a pic every minute and then put it all together in a time lapse video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAustCm2RxI&feature=player_embedded
Bit more done on the coupe Fitted the 49 Plymouth Dash. I had to make up a new top part to graft it onto the old Dash to make it a bolt in item. Only had to cut about 4" off each side. cut the bottom out of the old tank and found this Grill shell mocked up
Bit more progress Shock and headlight mounts made The bottom of the trunk lid needs some rust repair so the skin was removed, not an easy job but its now apart and ready to shot blast. Not sure if I am going to repair the bottom 4" or make a new skin. Dash mocked up
