Friend of mine asked me to ID the cars from her family photographs. I have no clue! She said her grandfather made the trailer and they were from northern New Jersey Sussex county. Anyone? hunting 1.jpg hunting 1.jpg

  2. The coupe in the first photo is a Packard, maybe 1935? The car behind that is a 1935 Ford. The coupe towing the trailer looks like a 1930-31 Chevrolet. The touring car with the trailer is a 1930 Chrysler.

  6. Yep. I am certain now that I looked at a 1935 Packard coupe. I know the Chevrolet as I am familiar with them and since I am an avid Chrysler guy, I picked out that early series 1930 Chrysler Model 77 touring car. I would LOVE to have that one. The "penon" louver design on the Chrysler is an early production 1930 detail only.

  10. There were only 173 of those Chrysler "phaetons" (as Chrysler calls them), built.

The Chevy coupe is a '29-30.

  13. Yes. Thanks for that. I forgot that the 1931 has full hood louvers and not half like the 1929-30.
