I tried posting this message before but with HOW FAST threads move-on in this forum I did not get any replies.... We will be visiting LA area NEXT WEEK (July2-9) In addition to mandatory stops at the beach..... SoCal Speed Shop & the NHRA Museum we hope to get the chance to check out some "hot rod action" ...... We will be staying with my wife's son who lives in Canyon Country which isn't too far from where the Sespe Creek Car Show is being held (Fillmore, CA) If it's a good show we would love to stop. Hopefully we will be hook-up with any HAMBers that are attending. I have been a hot rodder since the 50's..... so needless to say, I love visiting LA and seeing as much of the hot rodding scene as we can fit into the time we are there.
You should use Socalcarculture for events & cruise nights!! Use your gps for your shop tour during the day & there's a cruise somewhere in So Cal every night!! Cruisin Grand in Escondido is kool!! You're out of luck on the Twilight Criuse at Pomona which should have been on the 4th,but you people will be celebrating some altercation that happened over 200 years ago,instead!!!
