looks pretty crusty. $250 bed included if there is rot at the juncture of the x-memb an the main rails flathead is probably full of water. maybe a little more if all is solid and the engine has been covered.

Looks like it has a later flathead in it. Possibly a 37-38 LB block, judging by the number of stids and the waterpump placement. Rod

Looks like the frame horn is splitting. Probably a lot of rust in between the layers. And the tin patch over the side of the frame rail is suspect too.Look it over very closely, and see if you can handle the damage.

The flatty is a solid hunk of rusted 24 stud, guaranteed.

Bed looks rather rusty as well.

I'd say there's $200 in parts there, but there is a whole lot more work there as well. But I've been known to bring home rustier stuff.

24 stud, (look at the lower center 2: 24 studs had 2 at the center, thusly: 21 stud engines had 1 in the bottom center. Fast way to tell.

This one also has a late '39 tranny. (look at the shift tower and stick)

Yeah, the galvanized 'side skirts' might be there for a reason...
