Calling Chevy wagon owners!! 1962 full size.

I need some info or pictures of 1962 Chevy fullsize station wagon tailgate glass. Does the glass in 1962 have a chrome moulding around it? I have 2 different interchanges, one says 62-4 will fit, the other says 1962 only--this is for 1962 Impala-Belair-Biscayne. I'm picking up a 62 Belair to build for a grandkid hauler.

I believe the 62-64 interchange is correct. They look alike in all all of the pictures that I have studied. I have been searching for one myself, without any luck. Oh, and to answer your question the glass has no metal on it but the lower channel.

Too bad you're so far away. I found a 64 today, with glass, and I'm going to check out 2 62's tomorrow. I'll bring a tape measure with and see if they come close.

    Anybody else been thru this?

I had a 64 with no chrome, and a 62 with. Other than that they looked the same

Thanks guys, I finally found one today with the chrome around it, and a tinted glass to boot. Of course the bottom sash is rusted and I'll have to work my magic repair on that. I found a 64 also and the glass is thinner with no chrome around it. I'll do a "tech" when I repair the sash. I've had a couple people ask about fixing the sash or lower glass channel and I've done that repair on several old wagons.
