help identifying this bench seat

    100% sure that it comes from a car or a truck....or something else................:rolleyes::D

    brackets look sorta like 58-64 chevy full size car

    I'd bet the same as Squirrel. Looks like a GM to me. With the Vinyl on it, I would guess it'd be a truck. Not many cars had 100% vinyl on them like that.
     
  5. If you pull it out, there is usually a metal tag attached to the seat bottom springs. most split benches were 2 dr cars. It does not look Ford, so GM or Mopar is what I'd go with too.
    Measure the seat backs, the hardtop ones are shorter than sedans.

    the full vinyl is just a cover, you can see some of the original upholstery where the dark cover is torn

    1959 belair is as close as i can get that seat trim.

    I don't think that the cylinder head is stock for that seat either...
     
  9. HotRod-Linkin is as close as I could guess, also. The track tells me its definitely GM car, late 50's-early 60's.

    The head could be from a 58-62 chevy full size car as well.
