We all seen it before in mags and the internet, but can someone please help me with the builder/owner's name or the name of this truck? I've only seen pics but I want to know more about it.

I love the front, to me thats what makes this truck, Its pure art! I would love to build one with a dodge cab and bed with the Edsel grill like that one and of course the HEMI

  17. And thats what makes cars so cool,,,, we dont all have to have the same tastes and likes, yet are still a brotherhood.

Every car is a "checklist car", just not necessarily your checklist.

A "checklist" car is a car that checks off every box on the "currently cool" list. Blown Hemi, check, WWW pie-crusts, check, zoomies, check, lotsa belled holes, check, ect, ect ect... If thats what turns your crank, great, rest easy, you are in the majority. Its not what turns mine. Guy asked for more info on the car, I told him where he could find it, 'Nuff said.

You mean like building a period-correct 40's hot rod? Those are currently pretty cool here, I hear.

Flatty with Harrell heads, check. Culver City Quickie, check. Curved glass SW's check. 16" steel wheels, check. No fenders, check. ect, ect, ect. But I'm not building a period-correct forties hot rod...

I think it's wicked cool. It's both a hot rod AND a custom, to me. Kinda perfect for this forum!

It's definitely an original, which makes it very cool as far as I'm concerned. I bet you wouldn't see a look alike parked next to you in a drive-in !!

Anyone that thinks those headlight frames are Biscayne taillight bezels has a pretty lousy sense of scale. No way to stuff a 5" headlight into a 1958 Biscayne taillight hole.

The car is not my cup of tea, but I'd be delighted to take it for a spin.

normal grille. 2- 4 barrels on the blower. lose the wide whites or trade the mags for steelies and hubcaps. that's what I would like to see done to it. .
