Help hambers(sticking starter!

New guys and the caps lock and the word Ratrod New guy talking some ........ AS for your problem shim starter or replace starter gear .I think its hanging up .Don't use the words Ratrod around here ...... Im just looking out for you ,I did that once when I was drunk and Thread was deleted.......If that doesn't solve your problem a new starter will ,,,,,,,

 

Unlock your keyboard and dont use the vermin name or you are going to have issues here.

 

How about use some real starter bolts instead of replacement grade 5-8 bolts? Just a guess. I have replaced a few starters that were just the people had the wrong bolts in the starter allowing it to torque sideways and bind or catch while the motor was running. Just a thought and also like everyone else said no RR or Caps.-Weeks
