Hello, I'm from Angola,IN. I'm the Director of The Northeastern Indiana Racing Museum in Auburn,IN. approx. 25 miles South of Angola. We are located inside the National Military History Center & Automotive Museum along with the International Monster Truck Museum & Hall Of Fame and the Fort Wayne Baseball Museum. This is home to many of the Custom TV & Movie Cars of Carl Casper. It is home to many old monster trucks including The #1 Bigfoot truck. It is home to a military museum covering from the Civil War up to now with mostly WWII vehicles and artifacts(Thats what it started out as just WWII). And Home to The Northeastern Indiana Racing Museum which covers the history of the local racers and tracks. We have many local old race cars and photo's,trophies, etc. along with some cars from NASCAR(One being Dale Earnhardt Sr.), NHRA Drag racing, Indy Racing Series, ARCA and SCCA. Located along I-69 at Auburn Exit 126. Open every day except Thanksgiving,Christmas, and New Years Day. 9am-5pm $10 per person. And this is just a parttime job for me(sometimes a fulltime job). My fulltime job is with The City Of Angola Water Dept. as a Treatment & Distribution Operator for 24 years. I'm Married and have 5 children and 6 Grandkids. Born in Jackson,MI. lived in Hillsdale County,MI. for a few years then moved to Ohio. Grew up in Montpelier,Ohio. My Parents owned a Sinclair gas station/Radiator Repair/Wrecker Service, so I grew up fixing vehicles. I took two years of Autobody repair I worked in Body shops for 10 years. Parttime, In 2000 I started doing Motorsports Photography for a magazine in Charlotte,NC. covering NASCAR and was an offical with the Sprint Car Series SOD(Sprints On Dirt) Parttime/2001-2003 Track Photographer for Angola Motor Speedway 2004 Photographer for The USA Modified Series 2005, 2006, & 2008 Angola Motor Speedway Track Photographer 2005 also Joined the Racing Museum in Auburn as a board member Jan. 1st 2010 became the Director of The Northeastern Indiana Racing Museum. Ok there you have it, that's most of my life at least the better parts.
