Been on here for a few years and thinking about starting a build thread so I should probably do an into first! Contrary to the name I no longer have a Willys but will probably always be the neighbor kid. Grew up next to Von Hartmann here on the hamb so have been around cars since I was little. Finally at 22 years of age I'm able to start building on a car that I've had since I was 17. 1957 Chevy 210 sedan "gasser", I know how upset people get at the word around here But for lack of a better term that's what I'll call it for now. Blown SBC power plant, Jerico 4- speed, 9in rear, ladder bars, straight axle, magnesium wheels, the usual. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
How could you help but build a Gasser when you have a drag strip in your backyard? Be sure to go to the Meltdown when it comes this summer.
Setting the motor this weekend, since this picture I have cut the firewall out for a few inches of setback
welcome, cool project. Maybe I'm wrong but I wouldn't trust putting all that nice stuff on the shelf, its an awfully long drop to the floor.
Welcome to your first H.A.M.B. Build thread from a fellow young gun with a Five Seven Looks like you've got yourself a solid starter, and some killer speed parts up on the shelf Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
