It's been quite a while, so I figured I'd intro again. I'm an almost 40 first Street Rod project builder in South Louisiana. I'm building a 23 T bucket (no red hair step child jokes) and I did not use a kit. Learned how to weld so I could build my own frame and I've done almost everything myself so far. Split a handmedown fiberglass body three times to add 3 inches in the cowl, 3 inches in the doors, and 3 inches in width. SBC normally aspirated for now with a 700R4, I've got a 4-71 sitting on the shelf for a later install. I've had other hot rods, 71 chevy stepside with SBC and Muncie 4spd, 65 F100 with a 400 shoehorned in, Olds cutlasses, Firebirds etc. Not new to the HAMB, but usually just a lurker in the background. Thanks for all the info I've borrowed over the years.
