About 1½ years ago I posted here on HAMB my Model T Project having a good new home. Tomi Kangas from HEATH Garage has some amazing talent. You judge. Here's the deput of that newborn Model T Sedan, called "Stuart Little" named after its Cadillac Flathead motor from WWII tank. Tomi drew his inspiration from the latest Japanese Kustom Kulture, lowrider theme and 60's show rods! Life is the same no more!!!

Too many girls. One more bike. Hamber Teemu's Panhead Bobber. Brookville Roadster at the back.

Oh, and this car had interesting paint. Any ideas how it was done?

These two cars are even more off-topic than bikes but still pretty cool ones...

Nice show. Nice setup. It is like our North American International Auto Show in Detroit where there are sections and raised floors and such for groups of cars. Autorama is too much parking here and there on the main floor with not as much definition as to where groups are and aren't. Maybe it is because so many are single car entries but this set up just looks pro.

    Nice pictures!

    Thanks.

Yes, this time it was very well organized event. Import ricers were in another hall and all others in groups. I'm a bit missing the real show stoppers with spinning mirror platforms, though... ;)

  24. the flat black VW is actually kid sized......about 1/2 scale and all steel...it really is a fantastic piece of work..

the paint may be vreeble (it cracks once sprayed on) or (easier to do) a silver base is spayed and using either cling film or a plastic bag you dab it and the folds give you the lines and differentials in tone....then it's covered with candy..you can do the same thing but leave the silver to dry then dab the candy for a different effect!

Yes, the miniature Volksrod was really funny, I had seen it here on Hamb before but I didn't realize it being THAT small. The builder is a hamber, make a Hamb search "Hebster".

Thanks for explaining the paint, never seen that before.
