I used Jet Hot a bunch in the past, can't really say much as I haven't sent anything to them in a few years. I've used HPC more lately since they're in NC. And have also heard good things about Performance Coatings.

The good thing with HPC is they have a bunch of locations.

Do you know of the FinishLine guys, up in Portland? I'll dig up their card if you want it...

I used Jet Hot and was happy with the price, speed, service, and the quality of the finished product.

And they still look perfect 1.5 years later.

Anybody try any of the "at home" type coatings with good results?

They are the closest to us up here in the NW.

I have used them twice...both times I enjoyed good service, and they were ready on time.

Cerma-Kote in Fresno has a good reputation and good turn around. Roger Garcia is happy with them. He's on a first name basis.

not to bust a bubble, but ive done two sets of headers. one set by jet hot and one set by hpc. i found in our region that neither coatings was worth the money spent, on a daily driver anyways. i dunno if it was the humidity being so high around here or what, but both developed little rust blisters within a year and eventually looked like conventional painted and rusty headers after a couple of years. doug thorleys chromed headers lasted a good while on the family truck, but i understand they are triple plated.
in the future i think im going to use an idea i saw with soaking header wrap in liquid graphite (dag 156) with alcohol.
