Have ya ever had "that" kinda day?

Thinking things were lookin up with the old 53 Buick.... Got a new clutch in... Got a defroster blower working, even got wipers...
Started acting up driving to get my kids from daycare... Fuel issue...leaky line caused vapor lock behaviors when car was hot...
Put on e brake and the pedal snapped off when I put it on. Anyone know what years e brake pedal I can start lookin for to replace it?

 

Having one now, I just found out that the deed was written wrong on my retirement property and part of the property is up for tax sale.

 

That sucks big time! HRP

 

Yeah yours is worse. Hope that get fixed right quick.

If I could even explain the last two weeks of complete turmoil around my humble home (and therefore business), you would be laughing your asses off, thankful your not me.... Yes I have had several of those days, and I dare say I might just be the king of them. I mean, have you ever used all four of your yearly AAA free tows in one afternoon? On four different cars including the one your barrowing?

 

Everyday i wakeup without a toe tag is a good day.
I BITCHED ABOUT NOT HAVING ANY BOOTS TIL I SEEN A MAN WITHOUT ANY FEET.
Life is good in Stuckin.

Tell you one thing, having a kid late in life is great. Her attitude cant help but rub off on me, every day is just one big adventure...

 

Let's see?, I dug up the the parking lot at work today looking for a water leak. Three holes later still no find. Went back to the first hole and dug just 6 more inch's toward the building and there it was. 4 times the work, 4 times breaking asfault, 4 times the dirt

I suppose in the grand scheme of things it's good to have friends with a welder when you have whiskey... I yanked the pedal and we are gonna try to weld it, then try some whiskey...

 

Glass is still half full round this side those days suck

 

Now you're being optimistic...stay positive. I woke up this morning and didn't have a toe tag... it was a good day!

 

And a one and a two.......I think I do hear a country song coming on. What don't kill you makes you stronger.....

 

I got married its been a bad day sense then

 

I think the thing that put me over the top was pushin my 53 Buick through an alley so I could get to a safe spot to fix it while a homeless fella was goin..."Hey man, nice car, izzat a 58? Can I borrow a dollar?" I was tryin to keep my cool with him while pushin the damn car... Funny though, I ended up using my broken e brake pedal as a wheel chock while I fixed the fuel issue.

 

Been my experience that when I take the time to look around, it's pretty easy to find someone who's having a suckier day than me. I won't bore you with how my week has gone, and hope that everyone's days get better.

 

Someone told me if you are over 50 and wake up without pain you must be dead.

 

life wise not bad... car wise quite the low.

The cat had fleas, get her dipped Monday, treat the house, bring the cat back... still got fleas. Bug guy is coming by tomorrow at 9 AM. Engine went in my OT Nissan that my son drives, layoff notice went out at work.. aside from that I'm fine.
