I was just thinking the same thing. I want to build a set of lakes headers, but when I saw his work, I'm already dissapointed in myself and I haven't even started them yet!!!

Did you see the fit he got on those exhaust headers before welding? SHIT !!!!

Oh yeah Steve Sellers is the shit, hands down the shit.

He's a HAMB'r "Sellers" I think he just lurks though.

He does some wicked wicked stuff.

 

Steve Sellers is the real deal!!! I don't post post too much work related stuff on here, but Steve is a customer of our's and he is truly a joy to work with. I know that no matter what I send him it will end up in a project that is absolutely freakin' amazing.

 

I just want to repeat everything that's been said... what can you say! The workmanship is unbelievable .

HOLY SHIT ... I mean HOLY SHIT!!!! It looks like his stuff wad GROWN in God's Garden .. not cobbled together in a metal shop. That just raised the bar miles above my head ... if I can get my welding/fab skills to half that level, I'd be one happy camper. WHO IS THIS GUY?!?!

 

I just let Steve know we were all peepin' his myspace. He should be coming on and reading and enlighten all of us.

I know from a discussion with him about the headers he says.
"fit is key.. and a structural weld you could say is 2nd.. no no dremal.. just the way i cut 2" disc's alot of hand filing in tight places, but honesty, just how you use a small 90 degree angle finder."

I'd like to have about 1/4 of that talent and maybe 1/2 his tools.

 

I've tried like ten times and I can't get anything except a note that says "Photobucket bandwidth exceeded" where all of the pictures should be?

 

he was telling me earlier that he does'nt even have that many special tools. alot of it is done with simple stuff. i know Denny at the Ionia Hot Rod Shop does alot of amazing things with basic tools as well. you just gotta know how to use the tools you've got, thats all.

 

i'm no computer geek. somebody explain this "bandwidth" exceeded thing to me and can it be fixed???? i wanna see those pics again. i only saved a couple of them.

 

Bandwidth is kind of like water flowing through a pipe ... photobucket only allows so much flow through the pipe in a given time period.

 

he's back up. he said he upgraded his Photobucket membership.

 

Just when I thought I was all thumbs...now I feel like I don't even have thumbs...
