The Havasu Deuce Days were a great success. There must have been 250 cars parked on lush grass ball fields. Some of the things they did exceptionally well: * the weather was fantastic, mid 80's, just enough clouds and a breeze to keep things cool * no loud music, the music was subtle and speakers well distributed. Unlike most car shows, the music was "background" like it should be * porta potties were clean and didn't smell.....unusual for a show * beer tent was huge and beer priced very reasonably * as mentioned, the grass was great... cooler than the usual asphalt * The garage tour was fantastic! Everyone got a map, excellent social event. This is the first year for the event, don't miss it next year!
