Harbor Freight tube roller

    I know they are cheap ass tools but has anyone used the tube roller from Harbor freight

    Yes, I think it depends on the size tube you want to bend how good it will come out. I did a big radius bend on some 1" x .083 round tubing. It bent it but sort of flattened it and the bend curved off to one side. The dies are for bigger diameter tubing then the machine can handle. Maybe if you took some time and made the bender more rigid it would work better. But hey for about $167.00 I can't complain it's already paid for it's self by the small jobs I've done with it!!!!

    Got one, I've had good results with smaller tubing, have'nt done anything large diameter yet, planing to, but not yet.

    I have one and the guys at pirate offroad sell new dies and driveshaft that fix there problems.

  12. I bought one for some non-car related fab. I also bought a set of the 1/2" square rollers and had them machined for 1" square tubing. So far, they have worked great. As far as the round rollers actually being for pipe, I had planned to have each roller remachined to the next tubing size to better fit.

    If the tube goes off to one side when you roll it you need to space the rollers so that they stay in alignment. Couple of washers and they work pretty good.
