Snapped a few pics of the happy days hot rod on the tv screen, looks like it was before the goofy fake headers ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423414952.351848.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423414979.638341.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423415001.032888.jpg

  7. Yup, it's on the east coast. I took a pic of it when it was at the Jalopyrama show in Annapolis, MD quite a few years back.

Certainly looks better without the upside down SBC headers. I see they removed the windshield for filming.

The reason I watch old movies is just to see the cars. It is neat to see the 50s 60s era of rods and customs.

There was a theory that Von-Dutch was working in the sign shop at Universal around the same time he was working for Knotts Berry Farm,.... And a strong possibility that good old Dutch took a 1" brush to this Roadster PU and applied the flames,..... Of course, I herd it as a story. Anybody have any more info on this ?

I believe Mr. Haney sold it to Hank Kimball, who forgot where he parked it. :)

Jerry Duncan has a bunch of cool old HAMB friendly stuff. I'm surprised he's not on here. I sold my channeled '32 roadster to him back about 1992, it was in good company; I think he had about 3 more at the time.
