Hands down best Car Show of 2009?????

What was the best best Car Show of 2009?? I made it to almost all them Mine was VIVA LAS VEGAS.. Then LONG BEACH INK & IRON,GNRS.

 

The Tons of Hotties makes VLV my favorite too. All those pretty "Betty Page look a likes" rev my engine!

 

The best one here on the east coast in my opinion is the JALAPYRAMA put on by Mike Szuba. Lots of traditional cars and lots of great people

Love the Road Rockets Autorama 62 put on in conjunction with the Indy World of Wheels. Also, it is tough to beat the NHRR in Bowling Green.

 

I only went to the OSK Greazy Kenny's show this year, so I'd have to say that one...ps, fuck VLV...

Cheaterama and Hunnert are the best one day shows in WI and IL.

Symco Shakedown is the best weekend show in the midwest!! I will also take a longshot to say that it was the best first year show ever! Especially since it rained almost 4" that weekend.

How can any one say what the best show is? unless you travel to every show its hard to
say what the best show is.. how dose one person know if the Viva is better that the Pile up? or the Round up is better than Jalopy Showdown? I think it just impossible to say witch is the best..

How about the Europe or Japan Shows??

 

If you have never been on S Congress on a Fri or Sat nite during Roundup....dont even vote..........

I'm not sure if I even have a good time at a show because every time I think I do I come back and read a post by Denise (HRLC) and she had way more fun than I did at the same show and all the sudden I feel like I missed out on something.

The "Chopped Rod and Custom" in Newstead, Victoria, Australia...a great weekend out in the country. Ran, and attended, by great people.

Looking forward to a Viva/Lone Star trip next year though!!!

Here's another way of posing it. What do HAMBERs consider the can't miss shows in the US?
Of the ones I've been to, I'd say Mooneyes X-Mas, Lone Star Round Up and the old Paso
(can't speak for the Santa Maria) are the can'r miss shows. Never been to Viva, Hunnert, or Prmer Nats...

 

My best show was the last one. Then after the next one, the memory of past ones fades. None is better than one where I'm present in real time.

id have to say the HAMB drags!
the round up is a close second, but im more into the friendships and just chillin with buddies then sitting in a lawn chair all day under an ez-up.

 

like has been said, unless you attend them all you can't really be objective. I'll state that for all of the shows I've been to HunnertCarPilup in hands down the best one day show out there.
