I have been very interested in starting to learn some sheet metal fabrication. So I have been kicking around the idea of making my own radiator shell similar to a 32. Has any one on here ever made a shell? If so, any pics?

  2. There was a thread here several years ago from a guy that hammered one out on an old tree trunk as I recall. It turned out very nice!... It may have been an old tech week post. If I can find it I'll post it up.

  3. Someone did one by starting with a 48-54 GMC truck grill surround too I think..pretty cool.

I love how everyone automatically knew what I was aiming for.

  9. If you are not trying to do a copy you can use round and/or flat stock to form a custom skeleton and skin that.
