Define east Texas. And maybe put your location in your profile so we know where you are from.
Anyway if the DFW area counts there are a bunch of us, mostly a little nicer than the first respondant to this thread.

There is a guy in Longview who bought many many A parts in Ruston, Louisiana. He posted on this forum about 3 times. You could do a search. Its hard to get him to respond to phone calls and he ignores emails.

I'm from Van, just a couple stone throws from Longview. I'm building an A modified/rpu.
The last time I was in Longview about a year ago, I saw a totaly ridiculous purple late model pickup that had to be lifted 8 feet. I could have walked under it without ducking.
PM me if you want to hook up sometime, I'd like to see your "projects"

You know the old saying "you can't get there from here"? Well my maps and trips program was written by the guy who coined that phrase. Every trip I plot, it takes me through Dallas. I figured since I had to go there first to get anywhere I must be nowhere. Besides, who ever heard of Van? I bet half the people in Longview don't even know where it is and we are only 50 miles away.

College Station here...but wife's hometown is Hemphill...I'm pretty sure that counts as East Texas... It also qualifies in the "can't get there from here" category [IMG]
