HAMBer Gary? just arrived in Reno and is looking for a flathead generator, the style without the mounting lug, smooth housing. It needs to be the wide pulley and to be 12 volt. If anyone can help him that would be great He is in Reno now and his route to speed week is through Fallon and Austin.

Generators make a loud sound when they hit the road at 50mph. Luckily my lady found it in the bushes. We're in Fallon tonight, drinking at the Overland. Headed to Austin in the morning. Cheers you guys.
thanks for the bump Tman!! See you soon. Morning all, a little hungover this morning. Beer turned turned to whisky... This thing does act like it's charging most of the time. We made it 200 miles yesterday without any bugs, other then the ones on the radiator. Maybe somebody going to Speedweek will see this and have something to bring out. It's not really aflathead specific generator, it just needs the wide belt. thanks again, G
here's a bump for you. I have a 12v chevy generator, i'll throw it in the truck and we can see if we can make it work as a last resort. Hopefully someone has what you need. I'm heading out for the salt in the morning. Tomcat
just got off the phone with Gary and all is well. He found all the parts and is on the road heading to the salt with full juice.
