HAMB silent AUCTION: cacklefest schmacklefest - fire the beast Gizzle Hopper yerself

Brian Perrenot, owner of the AA fuel competetion coupe Gizzle Hopper, has stepped up in a huge way to help with the silent auction at the HAMB drags; and this is quite possibly the coolest thing ever to be offered up for bidding.

This item is going to give the highest bidder a thorough introduction to the 2000 hp fire belching beast. Then the winner and the car will be taken to the starting line at MoKan. Next, the lucky bidder gets to have their way with the dragster.

Because of the sheer bad assedness of this whole thing, it was decided to start the bidding on the HAMB.

SO... the high bidder here will have their name entered on the auction card and that will be the opening bid on Saturday Aug. 22 at MoKan. Being the high bidder here DOES NOT guarantee the spot in the car. It will be the first bid on Saturday at the drags. If no one else bids on Saturday then you will be the winner.

NATURALLY...you need to be at the racetrack on Saturday and at the auction tent at 4:00 pm to claim your high bid. If you cannot do either of these I suggest that you do not bid.

Bidding on-line will stop at noon central time on Thursday August 20. I will then write the high bidders name on the auction card, take it to Joplin, and bidding will resume in person on Saturday at the track.

ONCE AGAIN...the high bidder here may not be the final winner, it will only be the opening bid on Saturday. If no one bids on Saturday then the on-line high bid is the winner.

Finally, I open bidding at $100.
