HAMB relay...Michigan to New Jersey

My friend (kustom??) might be buying a transmission from rocketj2. The trans is in Michigan (near Detroit), and we have to get it to NJ (or as close as possible)...if anyone can help, please let me know....thanks,mike

 

It can hang out at my place for a while if needed? If you can get it to Ejenjo's this Sat I will get it there and he could pick it up at my place.

 

i'm willing to help if the trans needs to go to southern jersey..

 

Yeah, what part of Jersey? I might be going out the Tom's River way to be picking up a Matchless engine. Is it out that way?

Crap! I sure wish this would have gone down last weekend. I live real close to RocketJ2 and on Sunday I hooked up with FartCat, Enjenjo's son, and could have easily gotten the trans there.

See if KustomBuilder will swing by RocketJ2's place on Saturday morning on his way to Enjenjo's.

 

wish i would have know about this on monday me and a buddy flew to detroit and picked up his 64 gmc and drove it home . dam

I just talked to him on the phone. We're going to try to hook up for dinner tonight depending on his schedule. Looks like we're going to meet in Brighton, where he's at, if anyone is interested PM me for more details.

Cool let me know what happens with getting it to this point.

 

Like I said above if someone can get it to Ejenjo's place by noon on Saturday I can take it as far as Pittsburgh. I just need someone to let me know if I am need to do this or not.

His place is off US23 in Ohio on the Michigan/Ohio boarder.

Highly unlikely the trans will make it to his place by Saturday as it is still in the car, attached to the motor and the car is in storage. The reason I know this is cuz last nite while he was in town Lulabelle offered to transport it to PA but when I called RocketJ2 to see if something could be arranged he filled me on on the situtation.
