  8. I deny everything, my little jalopy won't go more than
    55MPH

Besides I don't see me in front of you in the spedo picture.

  9. That's like me following the raven to the HAMB Drags '05. Minus the load and the streacher, I slowed to gawk just of a minute and he was no where to be found.

I hate to admit it but sometimes breaking one is fun. How bad did you trash it?

Not too bad....I picked up a bad drivetrain vibration. The combination of the load and trying to get away with a drive shaft that was an inch shorter than it should have been caused the rear tailshaft bushing to spin out.

    Not quite a 427....but darn close.....only 406 cubic inches.

Flat-Top...it's amaizing what the Uni can do with that Panhandle tailwind. :)

  19. Yea but going out was a head wind, and my Model A has
the aerodynamics of a Studebaker powered cinder block. :D

Did you get the loose oil fitting squared away?

I haven't gotten to the fittings yet....I plan to pull the front clip off this weekend. And by the way, it didn't look like you had a headwind at all. You know, I've followed that black truck for thousands of miles over this country....and I can't get over how cool it is from any angle. I also can't believe no one has bought it from ya.....If I could only fit in it!

  21. I figured it wasn't the engine seeing whereas your pic in post #4 shows your tach at a leisurely 4 or 5 RPM. Must get great mileage!!

Too bad you broke down but doing it at speed sure beats overheating in traffic.

  22. Heh heh hee!
